Special school software

Software built in a special school, for special schools

ASEND360 was designed by a serving special school headteacher for pupils with complex needs: small-step progress, care and medical plans, behaviour support and the whole-school systems a special school runs every day.

Built for complex needs

  • Progressive assessment frameworks across the four broad areas of need, subject and life-skills frameworks, and the Engagement Model across all five areas.
  • Care and safety: individual healthcare plans, intimate care, moving and handling, mealtime support, medication records and stock, and PEEPs.
  • Behaviour support: incidents, ABC charts, functional assessment tools (FAST, QABF, MAS 2) and restrictive intervention recording aligned with DfE guidance.
  • Therapies recorded alongside education, with clinical supervision.
  • Out of programme time tracked separately from the statutory register.

And the whole school

The same platform runs the SEND register, attendance analysis, timetables, safeguarding, monitoring and evaluation, appraisal, the Single Central Record, Pupil Premium and governance — for one annual fee that never goes above £4,495.

Questions schools ask

Is ASEND360 only for special schools?

No. It was built in a special school, which shapes how it handles complex needs, but it works for mainstream schools, resourced provisions and alternative provision too.

How much does it cost for a special school?

A special school of 80 pupils pays £1,975 a year (2026/27, excluding VAT), with every Core and Plus module included.
